Emails, phone numbers, the names you list, the elements you choose: blurred on screen before the recorder sees them, and kept blurred while the page scrolls, slides, and opens dialogs.
Masking a customer's name in an editor means finding every frame it appears in, including the one where it scrolls past at the edge. Miss one and the video is a disclosure. Tuti Tuti blurs on the page, continuously, so the recorder never captures the text in the first place. The patch is placed before the first frame and released after the last.
Rules you set once per tutorial.
Found by pattern, in any format, including international numbers and the ones typed into fields.
A list of words matched whole, case-insensitive: a customer's name, an account number, a project code.
A CSS selector blurs a region: the revenue widget, the customer table, a sidebar.
Text typed into inputs and placeholder text that matches are blurred as the whole field.
Patches follow scrolling, sliding drawers, and fading dialogs frame by frame. Bounce scrolling is disabled while blur is on.
A patch is dropped only when something opaque actually covers the text; a dim backdrop or a fading sheet keeps it.
The recording holds the blur for its whole length, including the quiet lead-in and the final caption fade. If a step navigates to a new page, the new page restores the blur before playing on.
Tick emails and phones, add names, add a selector for a region.
Switch the preview on and scroll around; the patches follow.
The MP4 carries the blur baked in. Nothing to do in an editor.
